I am so excited to share this DC War Memorial engagement session in Washington DC with you. The DC War Memorial is a popular choice for engagement sessions and small weddings and it’s one place I absolutely love to go to. What’s great about this location is that you can venture to the water nearby to get a great view of the tidal basin surrounded by lush green trees and then it’s only a few steps away to get back for that monumental look as well. Jade and Eric are the sweetest couple and they are so beautiful together that it was so easy to make them look amazing during their engagement session. We started with getting photos of the water near the title basin and having them pose in different ways: looking at each other, laughing at each other, cuddling and getting lots of variety with the water before heading over to the actual DC War Memorial. At the memorial there was actually a small wedding going on so we had to kind of share the space but we were able to get lots of photos with them in the greenery around the memorial first and then once the wedding was over we were able to use the actual memorial and got a few of them there.
Jade and Aric and I talked a lot about their vision and their dream for their wedding and I could not be more excited to see it all come to life this summer with Summer and Co. at La Vie in Washington DC. I know they have big dreams for the special day and for their life together and I just know it will be as perfect as they are for each other.
