2022 Year in Review by Northern Virginia Wedding Photographer Samia || 2022 was one for the books. It was a busy spring season, restful summer, and insane fall season. By numbers, I photographed 23 weddings this year, 16 engagement sessions, 8 elopements, and had 12 portrait sessions. What a year! I always say how grateful I am to have a community of people that believe and support in me, and here I am saying it again. This year though, I feel especially grateful. This time around was different than other years. Each couple that came into my life had such a story, and so much trust in me to create something beautiful for them. It is because of each of them, and each of you, that I am even in this career in the first place, and able to stay in it. This was the year I feel I really found myself as an artist and photographer, as well.
