Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful La Vie DC wedding at the Wharf. The day started off at Hotel Washington, where Jade and her lovely bridesmaids prepared for the big day. With the help of her mom and sister, Jade stepped into her stunning wedding dress, filled with excitement.
We wanted to capture the essence of Washington D.C’s timelessness, so we all made our way to the famous monuments for some photos. It wouldn’t be a La Vie DC wedding if we didn’t take advantage of the grandeur and beautiful architecture of the monuments. The groom and his groomsmen headed to the iconic Lincoln Memorial, while Jade and her bridesmaids chose the picturesque Jefferson monument as their backdrop. It was a perfect setting to capture the love and joy in the air.
Our next stop was La Vie, where the wedding ceremony took place. The venue was absolutely breathtaking, adding an extra touch of elegance to the celebration. Jade and Aric’s love for each other was palpable, and it filled the room with warmth and happiness. Witnessing their love was truly a privilege.
After the ceremony, a delightful brunch reception awaited everyone. As we all know, there’s nothing quite like enjoying waffles at a wedding! It was a unique and delicious touch that made this wedding unforgettable. As a photographer, I am always thrilled to capture the beautiful moments that unfold during weddings. The Washington DC backdrop, the La Vie venue, and the portraits taken at the Jefferson and Lincoln memorials added a touch of grandeur to Jade and Aric’s special day. I feel honored to have been a part of their love story and to capture their memories for them to cherish forever.
