Kevin and Jill’s DAR Constitution Hall Wedding was absolutely beautiful. The love Jill and Kevin had for one another on their wedding day is something that you had to be there to witness. Jill and Kevin got ready at the Watergate Hotel in DC in separate suites. Jill got ready with all the girls, they were drinking and eating breakfast and talking over some of the special notes they had prepared to share from their hearts at the ceremony. The morning was full of emotion for many, but especially Jill, who could not wait for her first look with her love, Kevin. We did their First Look on the rooftop of the Watergate which was the perfect setting for a private, intimate, and meaningful moment before all the hustle and bustle of their wedding that was ahead of them. Their moment was quiet and full of a breeze, I think rooftops take the cake on best places to have a First Look if you can.
After their First Look and family photos we all headed to the Lincoln Memorial for portraits before heading to DAR for their ceremony and reception. The library was the most unique place to have cocktail hour, it allowed guests to spread out and explore while visiting one another.
