Briana and Jon’s West Manor Estate wedding in Forest, Virginia was one I am so excited to share with you! I actually first met Bri and Jon at James Madison University where they ran the Swing Dance Club. I was a freshman looking to join new clubs and came out to meet people and get to know the campus, I remember being in awe the first time I saw them dance together as a demo. Their chemistry was undeniable and captured the room so effortlessly. Fast forward a few years and we all graduated, and they got engaged and planned their wedding to take place at West Manor Estate in Forest, Virginia.
West Manor Estate Wedding in Forest, Virginia
It all begin with Bri and her girls getting their hair done in the Bridal Suite. The Bridal Suite at West Manor Estate was definitely the highlight of the property! It looks like a salon with tuns of mirrors and most importantly, tons of window light. The space allowed me to get lots of photos of the girls candidly getting ready. Jon got ready in the guys room, where they had their own gathering and music and food, too! Bri and Jon opted not to do a First Look, and it made for all the more meaningful entrance for Bri. Jon cried and was captured by Bri’s grace and elegance walking down the aisle -we all were. Once they were married, we took family photos followed by bridal party photos. What I loved about this wedding was each part of the day was photographed in a different space, even the bridal party and family photos. This made for a lot of variety in their final wedding gallery. Jon and Brittany had the funniest experience struggling to cut their cake, I’m not sure what happened there but they were laughing hysterically! Of course, the part that is forever in my heart is their First Dance, which was part a slow dance and… that’s right, a swing dance.
