This wedding was one of my favorite Briar Patch Bed and Breakfast Wedding’s and I am thrilled to share it with you! Briar Patch Bed and Breakfast Inn is one of the most beautiful venues in Middleburg, Virginia. It is the perfect mix of cozy, historic, and elegant. The day started with Laura getting ready in the Cottage with her bridesmaids, while Daniel got ready in the Chicken Coop. The two opted for a First Look in a shady spot by the pool. After their First Look, we took lots of bride and groom photos before heading in for the ceremony. There were a lot of special things that made their ceremony unique: Laura’s mom sang, they read vows, and at the end they did the handshake like the one in the Parent Trap. Friends and family traveled from near and far to witness their commitment to one another, and it was beautiful to see.
For the reception, Laura and Daniel opted for a classic blue linen with gold accents. The chavarria chairs really brought out the gold accents in the middle of the tables. During the cocktail hour cast gathered on the rooftop as well as in the front lawn and enjoyed appetizers and drinks as well as played lawn games. During the cocktail hour we also took beautiful family portrait in front of the fireplace, and headed out to the counselor to join the rest of the party. After that we headed in for the reception where DJ Craig got the party started with introductions followed by dinner followed by more photos at sunset. What I love about weddings in Middleburg is that there’s always a gorgeous view of the sunset, since I sent Briar Patch a really beautiful because you can head out onto the patio and get a direct view of the sun light! After sunset photos everyone headed back in and enjoy the evening of dancing, laughter, speeches, toast, cake cutting, and even the lip-sync battle.
