These Library of Congress engagement photos are some of my favorite photos today. Ray and Liz opted for the library of Congress for its historic backdrop, timeless look, and also just outstanding architecture that takes up the space. They wanted something in DC that didn’t look too much like a monument but still looked iconic and showcased the city in a unique way, which brought us to picking LOC.
What I love about the Library of Congress is that there actually is a lot of variety in the location and a lot of different ways to use the space. For this Library of Congress engagement session we started with photos on the second floor near the windows where are we did a little a mixture of posing and candid portraits and played a few games. After that we ventured around the library and were able to do some photos on the staircases, even though technically we weren’t supposed to… we also did a little bit of seated portraits at the bottom of the stairs. I also remember how unique and cool the elevators are the the Library of Congress! We made sure to also step outside and get photos showcasing the venue from the outside as well. Ray and Liz are the sweetest couple and they look so perfect together and are perfect for one another I cannot wait for their wedding this year I know it’s going to be just as beautiful as their love for each other.
