Cindy and Mark’s Elopement at Cafe Riggs:

https://wedowedid.com/an-elegant-elopement-and-reception-in-washington-dc/

From the moment we began discussing this elopement, I know it was going to be so special. We considered all the best spots in DC to uber around to for their photos and elopement, and ended up picking the best spots for the most variety! The day started at Cafe Riggs, where Cindy and Mark had rooms to get ready in, shared their First Look in the lobby. Followed by their First Look, Cindy and Mark signed their marriage papers and we headed to the courthouse!

Then, they were officially official. To celebrate we took an Uber to the National Gallery of Art, which was the perfect backdrop for a classic DC elopement and variety in color and warmth. We walked around the museum together looking around and taking portraits. Cindy carried her bouquet with her, and many people around them cheered and clapped when they saw these two. I’m so glad we went outside the National Gallery of Art for photos also, because we came into the best light ever outside! The best thing about monumental stone in DC is that it natural reflects the best light for skin tones, and makes for a beautiful and simplistic foreground.

After their portraits we returned to Cafe Riggs where the vendor team was all set up and ready for the most precious candlelit reception. Mark and Cindy did everything right and shared the perfect elopement in DC.

Daniel and Laura were married in the heart of horse country, Virginia at Briar Patch Bed and Breakfast. The day began with flowers blooming, and they shared a First Look out under a magnolia tree. The wedding was full of light, love and being surrounded by friends and family who came from near and far to celebrate their love for one another.

Liz and Ray at Stonewall Golf Club

Raymond and Elizabeth were married at Stonewall Golf Club in Gainesville in September, 2023. Their wedding was simple but chic, with in-house catering and a pop of vivid blue in the groom’s suit and floral arrangements of blue hydrangeas. Stonewall Golf Club, with a convenient location only 20 minutes from Fairfax, offers an outdoor ceremony site, seating for 200 guests, and all-inclusive packages with in-house catering and alcohol. Use of a golf cart is a perk of golf course weddings – they make great photo opps!
